Frame Story

                                           The Breaking of a Leg

I am laying in my bed pondering the big game tomorrow. We have to win. It is the most important game of my career. Slowly I drift to sleep.

I am in the final of a soccer tournament and am dribbling down the field. I fake out three defenders and there is one left.

"Get number 17!" the other team's coach yells to his players. Suddenly I feel intense pain in my right leg and hear a loud SNAP!! I look down as I'm falling to the ground. My leg is a banana-shaped mess.

"John! NO!"my coach yells. Then everything goes black for a second.

I wake up laying in my bed panting. I have an intense pain in my right leg. Slowly I look down toward my leg. I heave a sigh of relief as it is fine. I am relieved that I will be able to play tomorrow.
                                                                  THE END

Typhoon Tears Through Cemetery; Hundreds Dead

Typhoon Tears Through Cemetery; Hundreds Dead

In Tampa Bay, Florida a typhoon ripped through a cemetery leaving hundreds dead. On Tuesday they will make some more thorough examinations on who died. The town is very sad about what has happened. We will have a memorial service on Saturday starting at 9:00 am and ending at 3:30 pm. We hope that you can come. The town was evacuated so people will slowly file back to town.

Barbara Walker said her child did not come home. The police told her that they would check the cemetery for her son tomorrow. Mr. Todd E. Franklin said his wife has been missing since the night of the typhoon. Fortunately, they have found evidence to where she might be. They too will do more extensive searching on Tuesday. We will have a list of dead people available on Wednesday.
